Tavo is easily the dumbest member of the band, but he’s the heart and soul that drives them all forward.

Jess keeps the band grounded and is always on the look out for possible threats to their success. They can play the guitar as well as the bass.

Gabe’s the group mom, really. He keeps the others from doing really, really stupid things, but he’ll go along with the less stupid things.

Fang joined last, but is an integral part of the band now. She’s always down for whatever goofy or reckless thing Tavo suggests.

Stylized instruments inspired by real ones.

The primary antagonist of the series, she seems to have an interest in The Kevins’ success, and works against our heroes.

The leader of rival band The Kevins. His talent is real, but so is his rotten attitude.

The whole band. I liked the silhouettes for Kevin Kevin so much I decided to flesh them out and make them a band. Kevin Kevin’s look is inspired by pop-punk, like My Chemical Romance, while the others are his back ups so they aren’t to overshadow him.

“The Studio” is how they refer to Tavo’s studio apartment. They’ve put egg cartons on the wall to muffle the sound from their rehearsal space.

Jess tooning. Each character is meant to represent a different aspect of punk culture. Jess is inspired by afro-punk style and 80s punk.

Gabe tooning. He received additional stylization later. He is inspired by The Ramones style mop-top punk.

Tavo tooning. Tavo represents the mosh scene and garage band punk.

Fang tooning. Fang is inspired by my own punk style :p and the battle vests/jackets wearing punks.
